The United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration (UNRRA) was an international organisation established in 1943. Its main aim was to provide humanitarian relief to people affected by the Second World War. In liberated Germany, it was responsible for setting up and providing food and other supplies to the many DP camps and for the repatriation of DPs.
